This Homie, originally from Tokyo, Japan, goes by the name of "Japon." Named by the Homies who accepted him into their family, his name means Japan. Japon is a lowrider car broker to Japan. Setting up a little shop in the barrio, Japon puts Homies who want to sell their fixed up lowrider cars and hard-to-get parts in touch with buyer contacts he has in Japan. His business partners at his company called "Japon Hook-Up" are Ninja and Pokermon. This Japanese partnership also promotes big lowrider car shows in Tokyo and Osaka. He drives a super cherry, totally customized '64 Impala lowrider called "Geisha Girl." Japon speaks fluent Spanish and broken English and is a knowledgeable businessman. The Homies love this guy cause he is super cool, has deep pockets, and is always in a happy mood. Japon has a superfine little Japanese girlfriend named Japonita who the Homies drool over. Japon thinks that this is funny, like everything else the Homies do.

so this Japon guy is fluent in spanish, has broken English, and nothing more? interesting.... icon_confused.gif (which makes me wonder who is making up these stories for these Homie characters)

anyways, aren't Homies those really really small plastic toy figures (that you can't move its arms/leg but they just stand) that are sold for like 25-50 cents in those small vending machines? oh well, they're pretty cool in terms of collecting, kinda reminds me of Mighty Max plastic toys

in flip we call japanese japon or hapon, but it is only slang becaue it is actually hapones or haponesa in spanish. i brealy use haponesa or hapones, i just use hapon whenever i speak it, which is hardly, because hapon is just how i grew up. using. but i have alot of japanese friends, and most of them are not into lowriders and big classicla cars, they into small japanese super racers.
Eclectic Asian
well i took spanish in high school, and in the spanish language, the letter "j" is pronounced like "h" so japon is actually correct. hmmm, i'm visayan and there's also another meaning for hapon (or japon, however you say it... icon_neutral.gif ). if my memory serves me correct, hapon also means afternoon in visayan.
flipcombatmedic
yes that's right, also in tagalog, but it's pronounced ha pon. but it's spelled hapon.
NitaKang

That looks like a cross between a yakuza and a young japanese boy at a soccer match
