Another Canadian Killed in Mexico

TORONTO/AM 640 TORONTO - Last February, Nancy and Domenic Ianiero were murdered while on vacation in Mexico. That crime still haven't been solved.

Now the De Prisco family, also from Woodbridge, says they don't want to suffer the same fate.

Adam De Prisco died Monday night in Mexico after his friend found him in the street with massive head injuries outside a nightclub.

Acapulco police say it looks like a hit-and-run but his family says it seems he was beaten to death.

Adam's friend says the victim had been inside dancing with a woman when a man who appeared to be her boyfriend got angry.

The family says that raises the possibility Adam was beaten and they suggest his head injuries are more consistent with that scenario, rather than a pedestrian accident.

Police insist they're still investigating but the De Priscos say the case isn't getting the attention it deserves.

That's the problem with a lot of white travellers who go to foreign countries and think they are the $hit. They think they can get any women over there. I hope there will be more stories like this in the foreseeable future.

You're generalizing. Some people do go on vacation and enjoy dancing with others. I think some men see white guys, or just any guys in general who stand out, then get insecure as fu-k and wind up overreacting to every little percieved slight. I've heard about the same thing regarding black males in certain countries trying to go on the dance floor and all off the sudden you have a bunch of native males either getting in his face trying to outdance him or steal the women he tries to dance with.
