I've heard most ancient Japanese cities named after ancient castles of Srilanka. Do you guys know anything about this ?

There is full doctorine written by South Korean university, but i have no ideas how to obtaining them to study. This claim is totally new and it may means Japanese ancestors may have come from Srilanka or Indian port cities.

This Korean claims that they have matched all ancient japanese cities, castles names with ancient names from Srilanka & Southern india and it matches like jigsaw puzzle. Even first Japanese emperor & empress and many rulers named after royals from ancient Srilanka.

If any of you knows about this please feel free to post here.

Which "doctrine" are you speaking of? I haven't heard or seen it before.

And don't go blurting things out like "Japanese are from..." and "Japanese culture is from...", or Oyabun and Takashi will come and kill you.

Although it's possible some Japanese cities have names from Sanskrit, how exactly does that imply Sri Lankan origins?

All the asian cultures are linked. Over thousands of years cultural norms have been spread from one region to the next so there is no great revelation here.

WTF! fu-king hell, this is the most shocking statement i have heard! WTF! it would make sense if japanese came from china or korea or mongolia but sri lanka??? WTF!

Gandhi was not Sri Lankan or South Indian.

Maybe what consoleman meant is that the aboriginals of Sri Lanka (the Veddahs) are related to the Aboriginals of Japan (the Ainu)? Or maybe not.

I'm after more info. on this.

Does anyone from Japan knows their ancient city names?

BTW, ancient name for Osaka is Naniwa & Kobe is Mukouno which are names from ancient Srilanka castles. Please post only if you know about ancient japanese history.

Don't just put dumb post like WTF. BTW most Chinese don't know anything about ancient Japan & rest of asia since they call other asians as barbarians. laugh.gif

More info, my good Korean mate translated this claim for me. This Korean BBS post is basically saying all known ancient japanese cities are named after ancient Srilankan castles & even first Japanese royals were named after ancient names from Srilanka.

Is this coincident or what ?

If this claim is TRUE then ancient japanese rulers were from ancient Srilanka LoL icon_smile.gif

If you have any historical claims you can argue with this then please post here.
광명~
not necessarily... dravidians (ancient south indians) learned altaic language from sumerians... who also spoke altaic language.

sumerians were an original tribe at lake baikal... that may explain connection.
