what kinda photo takin r u gonna do?

yeah what kind of pictures are you going to take....if it's just for party pics, going out, all that stuff then just get a compact camera between 3.0 and 5.0 megapixels.

i just wanna take pictures of simple everyday life, nothing professional. mostly of friends, parties, scenery.. etc, but i want the picture quality to come out really good.

^mite wanna check that one out just for its extra features + extra 1.2 MP which makes a diff... i wanted to get the samsung sadly they dont ship to canada and im not willin to pay the extra $100 to get it in a store here...

AH Newegg. Yes that site is known for cheap products. That camera will do. For good picture quality, you need a flash. If you don't have flash, you need a tripod to stop your hand from shaking.

If for just everyday stuff, you can settle for much less.

does samsung have a good warranty policy?
with canon they gave me my money back without any trouble after 2 years. there was nothing wrong with the camera, i just wanted to buy a newer one.

^ about policy but the only real downside is that if ur not usin the camera for random piks with friends then its not that great... also the headphones u gotta use are 2.5mm and not 3.5mm i suggest u check em out a store... if u were willin to spend the money id say get a compact leica... i got the with a Cannon IXUS 750/Canon Powershot SD550 was a gift, the pictures r pretty good if ur willin to spend the extra $60...

btw with canon, there's an upgrade policy. you can upgrade your old camera for a refurbished camera in the same category. Contact Canon to find out more about it.
