Malacca/Melaka

It haven't been to Melaka for years when I visted my friend there 2 days ago.The city is surprisingly very clean the buildings brightly painted in cheerful colors.I noticed Melaka ha salso acquired a collection of shopping malls like Tesco,Jusco,Giant and Mydin biggrin.gif .

I currently only uploaded some pics of the shopping mall at Dataran Pahlawan.I'll upload more pics later.

hey ...where is the best place to stay in Kuching....and usually how many days to stay to see all those attractions over there

where do u prefer? resort? in the city?...

u can try:

1) resort >damai beach resort(3 star) or santubong resort(cheaper choice) if you like sandy beaches, relaxing environment... these resort r next to each other.. just 1++ hour to get there from city center.

2) in the city>merdeka palace(5 star i guess).. the most outstanding hotel in kch, there is one hotel which offers experience of sarwak lifestyle like the long house around the waterfront but i can't remember the name.. a unique experience for tourist.. other hotels like holiday inn, hilton, somerset also located in city center.

3) longhouse experience>if u r an adventurous freak and like new unique experience.. u should try staying in a longhouse.. this one u should find a local travel agency.. laugh.gif

"Can't Recognise This White Building" houses the Standard Chartered. I'm not sure what's its name, though embarassedlaugh.gif

BTW it's not only Somerset there. Half of the building are offices.
