As the Suwannaphum airport already open for 3 months ,some of us may used it already.
Then what you think about it. Is it better than donmuang?

I think the gov should close it and turn it to an Disney Land.

It need more than two runways.

you can't have disney land full of cracks on the pavement.

Arrival..for the first time..

Pros- 1) Immigration counter quite fast.
2) Staff are very helpful when finding a bangkok map.
3) Transport from airport to bangkok city is very efficient and plentiful,
servicing many popular routes like khao san, sukhumit road.

Cons- 1) Just seen so much concrete in my whole life..

Departure...

Pros - 1) Traffic around the airport bus stop is smooth.
2) Immigration is a breeze..
3) Met some cute lady staffs

Cons- 1) Frakking huge airport.. long way to the departure lounge..
or maybe I'm too frakking lazy..

The latest news is that part of the runway is cracked and pose real danger to the aircrafts. The runway had been temporary closed. Besides this part of the parking bay is also cracked. A new airport shouldn't have encounter major problems like this. Earlier it was roof leakage problem. I think the airport was built using sub-standard material and was a rushed job. Don Muang is still definitely better eventhough it is not as big as the new airport. Guess more problems will surface sooner.

1) I like when I c the local shop open there. Havent found KFC or pizzahut yet. The food is more on Asian and Thai food.

2) A bit far from my place northern Bangkok but the express way help me to reach there within 40 minute

3) The runway make me exciting experience when my SQ just landed here on the last week

Con

1) The gate is bit far to walk

2) The parking plus toleway fee rid me off I spend almost 300 Baht just to get there

3) Bad security ,they not check on the luggage very careful. There is no sniffing dog at all

4) Toilet is so small and smell like .It also far and not enough.

All I wanna find out is whether they have Thai yoga massages at the new airport, and if so, how good are they??? thx..

Ofcause we got Thai massage and also foot reflexology but abit expensive I think

I prefer it to D.M - very fast in and out.

More relaxing if you have to wait for a flight too.

One thing that struck me about the new airport was that it reminded me of a giant military base.

It's nice in it's own way, though. I like it.

Have they repaired the runways yet?

Well, I think they did a good job of building it but they didn't use the right stuff.
