Note, however, I can never afford retail prices so only buy from an outlet -- and only during a sale!
Retail price is for suckers, pseudo-riches and nouveau-riches and people in fashion-urgency. I also am fond of outlets and sales. Brands? Besides Levi's 501 jeans which I'm loyal too, anything that looks nice on me.

Is there a Muji in Singapore?
I've taken quite a liking to their stuff...linen shirts and cotton jackets at very affordable prices. Unfortunately I only get to go when I travel.
Other than that my taste of what's "trendy" has changed as I've gotten older. Still wear the Ralph Lauren polo, but I also mix it up a bit w/ sportswear from designers like Joseph Abboud and jackets from Ermenegildo Zegna.
Note, however, I can never afford retail prices so only buy from an outlet -- and only during a sale!
Yea we got a few muji stores here in singapore.

i got a part time job @ gap... so i can link all my clothes 1/2 price from there...
Most of it sucks. But basic stuff like Polos, Jeans, and dress shirts are really nice.
Their tshirts and sweaters are ugly... only 1/10 of them are nice =\
I also like shopping @ guess, holt renfrew for my premium clothes, and walmart for basics...
Walmart has really cheap tshirts and undies =) .... i shop @ china town too... Im really economical when it comes to shopping but only for certain things...
obviously nicer shirts and business attire i would buy it from Holts... But for layering tshirts, ill buy it @ eitehr walmart of chinatown

Kind of a moot point when you say you can't tell the difference and then go on to saying how they look the same.
moot point is a nice phrase.

If I can't tell the differences then they all look the same.
My logic is correct.
