Philippines is a very catholic country and Filipinos believe that Jesus Christ is the lord and saviour. Before I pressed the submit button, I looked at the image of Chirst on the wall and I have observed that Jesus don't have black/dark eyes which is the common eye color of Filipinos. Jesus also have caucasoid features and has fair skin. Since Filipinos worship Christ and kneel infront of him, does this somehow contributes unconciously to why Filipinos never see himself/herself equal to the (white)caucasians and so worship them ?

Funny though, there are alot of cultures worshipping a white clad god. Ie Quetzalcoatl (Aztec), Lono (Hawaiian), those people who brought rice to the people of Luzon. It's not because they were "white" but because white in many culotures symbolize purity ie Shinto.

I've seen pics of Jesus with brown eyes, and lighter eyes. The white folks have taylor made Jesus with white features so it would be easier for them to relate to him. I don't know about Jesus. I just concentrate on God. I'm more spiritual than religious. God is everyone and everything. People often say that God is love. If you want to know what God looks like, you can see God's face in the face of a person you truly love. So they say.
