Asians are mean and racist to everyone, not just Filipinos.

I've never been racist towards one. But two things bother me about
certain flips:

1. The whole I consider myself more with either Spanish, Pacific Islander, or Asian thing. It gets annoying.

2. No offense, but the accents when speaking English are a killer.

What do you mean? All immigrants who just arrive in a English speakinng country got a funny accent, atleast you could actually understand what (filipinos)theyre talking about even with that thick accent compared to other asian groups who speak English very fast like they know it and it sounds more like their own language.

yea that does get kinda annoying.. i mean just say you're filipino don't go into trying to convince people you're something else. I know this one filipino kid in my area who tells people he's a "Spanish-Filipino" when he's actually from a Chinese-Filipino background. I think he should just stick with filipino.

Don't worry, other forms of fobcents annoy me too. But flip people have that kind of weird Spanish/Fobcent when it comes to English. No, I don't always understand what a flip person says in English. My best girlfriend is straight from the Phillipines and I have a hard time understanding her sometimes. But I would never make fun of her accent or anything. But on the inside, it's secretly annoying. Not all the time, but sometimes.

lol i have never ever met any pinoys claiming to be anything other than what they are? i think most filipinos are so patriotic and proud.

And the english accent... theres a reason filipinas is the center of call centers along with india that is...

You're joking right? I always get pissed off when they send me to one of them..lol I usually hang up and try again. I even wrote a complaint to Sprint about it. I have to admit, the flips are very nice and courteous, but some of them have a communicatuion barrier. The Indian ones are very fiesty...lol


They're all equally annoying. But each accent has it's own annoying factor.

There some cool Flips and there some punk Flips. Just like all people. But with Flips, it's like this, some Flips give the rest of the Flips a bad name because of the whole "colonial mentality" thing. It's not just the Flips who have this issue because other Asians have it too, but to a lesser extent than the Flips. Unfortunately, the Flips have a history of being invaded and conquered by foreign powers. That's why the whole "colonial mentality" is such a big issue.

Like you and your people are getting a lot of respect these days.

To tell you the truth, I don't really give 2 shytz what you or other people think about us. The only thing that matters is what we Filipinos think of ourselves.

As for other Asians being mean to us, they can kiss my @$$ for they are in no position to be looking down on us, in reality, it should be the other way around, but we're better than that.

I haven't really had a problem with other Asians being racist towards me, but i have had a problem w/ them trying to tell me how different Filipinos are from other Asians. It's annoying.

Filos' here in Australia tend to just associate with other Filos'. So it kinda looks like we're an outcast..There's soo MUCH FILO PRIDE, but not much ASIAN PRIDE! In fact, its kinda odd seeing a Filo dating another Asian race..I'm more use to seeing them with white women and or men..
