I thinks its cool as long as its not OM or Swastika! People who get tatoos need to be a lil more creative when getting one. Om and Swastika are so cliche! I had a few friends who had om, i thought it was lame, just as lame as ppl having crosses!

Any tattoo that symbolizes Indian culture other than OM or Swastika is cool with me!

See, the OM tattoo was the only kind that my parents would let me get when I got mine at 18. But, oms and swastikas at the same time are small and cute. I don't think anyone is willing to get the Taj Mahal or the Indian flag tattoed on them.

Getting your name tattoed in Hindi is also becoming cliche around here.

You are rajput right, so you should have flipped through various rajput dynasties and their coins. A lot of coins have very decorative symbols that represented various military dynasties.

I am thinking of having a tattoo, and it will be a shunk / seashell which was one of the symbols of Satvahan Empire aka the first Andhra Empire. I am still looking for other appealing symbols of various Andhra Empires!
