Therefore, woman with larger chests and smaller waistlines are more likely than not to be fertile (in the male subconscious mind). They have already proven themselves able to carry and produce a child offspring into at least the third trisemester.

OK. This was the cave man's reasoning. But nowadays. Woman who have larger chests and smaller stomachs most likely are on birth control or have implants. (With the exception of a few very fortunate well - endowed females).




So in order to attract males, all you have to do is act more fertile!

That is incorrect. All animals (that can see) breed on basis of how attractive the mates are to look at.
However in the animal kingdom sometimes it is the reverse where the female visually selects the mate or some variation:

few examples:
1. peacocks (yes their shiny feathers do mean something/ how successful the male is at getting a mate)
2. deer (bucks with bigger antler's fight over the right to the females)

Second humans are the only mammals that exhibit their mammary glands when they are NOT lactating. Primates only show breasts when they are pregnant (that's why breasts are a turn off for apes).
