Getting it repaired/replaced by a shop or the company itself might cost alot. A few hundred dollars. You could just do it yourself. You could check ebay for fujitsu laptop monitors. You'd also need the service manual for fujitsu laptops though. It'd show you how to take apart the entire lid assembly and how to replace it.

Seems pretty difficult to repair a laptop. I don't know entirely too much about how to repair a desktop much less a laptop. Desktop work seems really easy but laptop, not so much.

Wouldn't there be like a whole series of like those cords things? You know, that band that connects to the screen? My graphics calculator has a messed up screen on one end. My roommate helped me open one up and see if we could sort of push those b!tches back in, but we didn't find any lose connections.

If there is some chance that your LCD screen has the problem, you might be able to save yourself some money. But, if your LCD screen is cracked, then you do have to replace it, only thing is this isn't something you can just snap in and screw in or put a plug into. There's that band that connects to the screen and the rest of the computer.

Does anyone know if this guy is going to need any sauder(I think I spelled it right)?

When my display went dead - I checked the price online and it was over 1000 to replace. What kind of prices can one expect to find on ebay in regards to replacement displays and what kind of guarantee is there the stuff will work?
