I'm looking around for a nice live jazz bar in Manhattan.

I went to Cafe Wha & the music was great but it's a bit too crowded.

Any recommendation?

Oh, anyone ever been to Blue Note in downtown? How's it there?

I suggest the Zinc bar right in the corner of La Guardia and Houston. Very cool underground jazz venue!!! they feature Latin/african exotic jazz vibe which make you wanna get tipsy and dance!!

yea it's crowded and there's not much space in the front louge, music area. Although if you want to skip the raw action you can chill in the back and listen through the stereo broadcast.
