last saturday, i attended the long-awaited indonesian cuisine class. they didn't teach us how to cook nasi tumpeng. however, I learned how to cook nasi goreng and sate ayam and how to prepare the kecap manis and peanut sauce.
our teacher was from west java who has been living in the Phils for three years. i learned from her that it's rude (in indonesian context) to say "uh-uh" or "oo" because most Filipinos do that a lot. so to all pinoys, beware. hehehe one of her friends who assisted us was from sulawesi and there was this guy named ageng who i have a crush on. hehehe

it's interesting that the Tausugs, an ethnic group in southern mindanao, also has a dish called satti ayam.
i hope i can post some pics soon because my friend still has not sent the pics of the indonesian embassy and the cooking class.

i dont think its impolite to say "uh-uh" and "oo"...i always say it..she just made it to make Indonesia look like a royalty....

people from java, either sundanese (of west) or javanese (of central and east), like to think that they are more refined than other ethnic groups. indeed people from some ethnic groups, like peccy, wouldn't fuss over those kinds of thing. maybe you'd better take the safe side, because like regular Indonesians couldn't tell an Ilocano from a Tausug, it'd take a long time before you could tell a Sundanese from a Batak.

nasi tumpeng is a quite a headache to teach it has probably 10-12 condiments (uh, i'm not really sure they're only condiments) and all needs to be prepared separately.

So han2 is now taken off the IndoChat and put on the new SG chat??? hhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa............OH MY GOD!!!!

With han2 there, the SG chat will be like SG regime ---- REPRESSIVELY IRRESISTABLE!!

I thought yesterday's epi was quite good....but just not as good as other episodes. But yeap..next week's the finale...and the show will highly likely go on a hiatus until the writer's strike is over and they can write new episodes...If the strike ends by end of this year, we could probably get a new episode in say february or march...BUT the last writer's strike ended in 22 weeks.. so if this writer's strike ends in April, we won't get a new episode until NEXT SEPtember(2008) because they will have a new show lineup for late spring and late fall.

Argh Im getting a headache! getting withdrawal symptoms already!!!!




Adrian as in nathan right? well...they already said that she is his daughter...but wouldnt be surprised if we found out that she isnt...and we found out that she is Actually Adam Monroe's aka Takeshi kensei's daughter and that Adam had an affair with Claire's real mom(that fire lady). Adam/takeshi and Claire can both regenerate and and I would say that she looks more like Adam than Nathan!

I was trying to look at who shot nathan..but all we got to see was the back view...
well...it cld be so many people..it cld have been future Peter...maybe because by Nathan revealing his abilities, it somehow messes up the future for his Irish gf(whatever the hell her name is..she's so forgeteable). BUT...towards the end...his mom was talking to someone on the phone..and she said she knew that it had to be done....so it couldnt have been future Peter.

it might also have been HGR...but that guy's hair colorings looks too dark to be HGR. But HGR hates the company now..

^Hmmm, I can't seem to remember. Though I expect it does. I'll take a second look when I visit the embassy again sometime this month. I'll try to take some photos of the lobby too. It's really beautiful and looks like a museum. You have this miniature models of varius indonesian ethnic groups and their traditional dresses.
