Hey all i was just wondering - do all Japanese people have bowlegs?!
me and my Japanese girlfreind have noticed that all Japanese tourists in london seem to have bowlegs and walk pigeon toed - even her!!! LOL

is this cos of the way they sit or dietary reasons?

Maybe its more noticeable on the Japanese cos (the girls at least!) they wear those drainpipe SKIN TIGHT trousers with their long converses!!! lol

i think it's part of their women's etiquette. close your legs all the time, walk in small steps, pigeon-toed etc. you know... the Japanese are mainly the ones known to walk this way, i think. not so much the other Asian women. i've seen them mostly in the older j@p women.

At least i got pretty straigth legs, but my cousin has very bowing legs. donät like girls that has it, it looks .. misshaped to me for some reason.

I think I read somewhere alot of Japanese women have bow legs because of some kind of chair that they sit on alot? I forgot what it was called but whatever I read said that since they sat on that so much it caused a slight curvature of the legs. Actually I think it might have said that Japanese women at one time preffered to be bow legged. Not really sure how authentic this is but this topic just brought it to mind.
