Tanishq Unveils Miss India 2007 Crowns(March 21, '07, 11:07 IDEX Online Staff Reporter)

The crowns for the 2007 Femina Miss India Contest were unveiled today by Tanishq, one of India’s best known jewelry brands. The company calls the jewelry line Zoya.
According to the company, the 450 gram crowns equipped with spring mechanisms to fit to any head shape or size, are decorated with trillion, baguette, round brilliant, princess, and pear cut diamonds, as well as specially cut colored crystals.
“We believe our association is testimony to our continued leadership in the market as being the trendsetters in jewelry design and styling,” said Tanishq COO C. K. Venkatraman.
Tanishq, part of the Tata conglomerate, operates 88 boutiques in 64 Indian cities, making it the country’s largest retail jewelry chain.
