I realized that some of the dark skinned Cambodian disliked other Cambodians if they have a much lighter skin then them.
How come they don't like each other much?
Have any of you notices this? What is your experience?

Me too! I don't know where Camcode coming from but my whole family is muti-color and even combination of different race. You are probably talking about Khmer from Cambodia. About in every Asian country Light generally look down upon darker skin. Dark skin are usually ppl who work hard in the field and light skin are rich ppl.

My skin aren't too dark are too light. But when I went to Cambodia for five months I came back with an original Cambodian dark skin color. Several months back in Cali gave me my original skin color back.
My dad's brother and sister are dark skin except for him cause he have lived here for so long. My mom is lighter skin than my dad, maybe cause she is part chinese cause her mom was half chinese. But she still looks Cambodian to me.
So if anyone of you that are living outside of Cambodia and would want a nice sun tan do it the old fashion way, go to Camboda and have fun over there. And don't worry about the tan it will go away in a few months once you are back home.

I totally disagree with your statement about dark being poor and rich being light, that statement sound so "farfetched" . Your skin color does not describe your up bring financial. I'm very surprised with this topic I don't know what Khmers Camcode came encounter with but the Khmers here could careless what color you are as long as you don't act like you are better than other, matter of fact this topic is farfetched!

Anything tan and darker is dark skin. Caramel skin color is considered dark.

When I saw this topic, I thought it was just another stupid worthless topic on skin color. I guess I was right.

I meant in the olden days, and for most skins if you stay out the sun your lighter if you were to stay there. Like the ppl who build the angkor verus the kings and queens they are darker. And of course today it not all true and doesn't say how much money you have if tradiction carries and thoughtout Asia this one carries. Like someone describe when they went to Cambodia ppl were jealous of his/her lighter skin.

The Cambodian stars do not have light skin, they are actually tanned skinned in real life, up close. Big celebrities in Cambodia are not "light" skinned. Cambodians in Cambodia in my opinion and what my father says do not really care for looks or any specific physical appearance.

Khmer stars are dark. such as the two guys in my signature. If I were to choose stars for Cambodia. Those two guys in my signature is what I will select. There are light skin khmer men and women but I prefer to choose dark skins with nice looking faces and good height for both men and women.
