Since I have some time Ive decided to check out AF. Just within a few topics I see alot of ignorant remarks and petty snipes. I'm sure I'll never be able to figure out the ethnicities of the offenders. In anycase I'm back for awhile and available for discussion.

yes Ogumo, and the mods are racists and don't care if people post this kind of $hit on Japan chat, it would never be allowed in Korea Chat or Chinese chat, I got banned for fighting with the anti-Japanese idiots for the simple fact that I disagreed with them and they reported me, it doesn't help that the mods of Japan section are all either Chinese nationalists, or Asiaphiles and encourage their behavior. of course like I do on that OTHER Site you know me from, I have run out a bunch of them, but they keep coming.

I don't feel that the mods are out right racists. However I feel because there is no japanese moderator the current mods are more willing to let anti japanese comments slide and be less attentive here. In anycase there have always been negativity here. However it seems to have increased ten fold since Ive stopped posting. For you to keep dealing with the ignorance and negativity on this site is some what adimrable.

You have to admit though Ogumo, you're PM old Abe there isn't exactly making it hard for people to criticize Japan.

But it's still generally wrong to denounce the Japanese people as a whole, I think.

I doubt Abe has anything to really do with it. People were doing this even before he got into office.

The Japanese forum feels empty to me although it is full of huge amounts of $hit. I just don't give a hoot about this section... Most of the topics are so uninteresting, and it's just the norm for people here to bash all things Japanese because they feel "safe"... since there aren't many Japanese people here or mods that care about this whole issue

Honestly, if I were Japanese, I wouldn't mess with this forum in the first place. So few Japanese here and lots of endless attacks from all kinds.

i agree there's an anti-japanese thing going on here :S it shouldn't be taken personally since there is racism towards other ethnicities too. people are bound to have their stereotypes and we just need to learn to shrug it off

Anyway, there's racism in the other cultural threads too. TBH, I don't show the link of this forum because people would think I'm weird for just being a member of it.
