Man a while back, i had this Asian channel on tv where it sometimes air these crazy Japanese game shows, i thought they we're pretty funny, but i totally forgot about them. It used to be a great joke a long time ago too... And it was mentioned with Japanese "culture" a lot haha, even on the Simpsons... what will those crazy people do next...

Hmmmm...I used to watch MXC on Spike TV (at least I think it was spike tv....) which is an dubbed over version of a japanese's gameshow called.....let me think......Takeshis Castle. old show that aired in the late 80's in Japan. Funny show, even without the ridiculous english dubbing.

yea MXC aka takeshis castle is funny, theres 2 dubbed versions, theres the british one (takeshis castle?) and then the american one (most extreme challenge) which makes takeshi italian? I think his name is romano

I also watch this new show on G4, "Ninja Warrior" aka Sasuke, its like MXC but the obstacle courses are serious tests of strength, agility and edurance.

i like those obstacle course stuff too. I use to watch the korean ones though, which they like they dont do anymore. But the japanese ones are too hardcore, cuz its usually made for athletic people. the korean ones were made for like just celebrities to do for fun and they compete with people from schools or sports teams. I kinda missed watching'em. but now i can watch that ninja warrior on g4.

yea, i saw it a few times. the courses are just too insane. its not made for just anybody to do.
