On Thursday, Hu Bing, a well established Chinese model, announced that he has signed a contract with an American agency, Falcon Goodman Management (FGM), and will go to Los Angeles to start his English and acting courses next week.
Come February next year, he will act as the leading actor in the Hollywood remake of "Lover", originally played by Tony Leung.
Hu Bing says he will stop shooting any movies or TV programs in China, and will instead focus on his career in Hollywood.

Yes, it is a shame, another Zhang Ziyi alike chinese celebrity! He will fall for some rich white woman (or man) and will make China loose face !

Soon enough he will find out that he will be framed to act as a villian or given roles in some Hollywood Kung Fu movies only. Chow Yun Fat is his mirror. fu-k Hollywood.

he may look quite handsome, but that chiseled kind of look is not really in hollywood style anymore. it's not exotic enough. why would white women specifically go for him when plenty of white men have the same kind of chiseled features. if women wanted to date interacial, they'd probably go for something more like Noah of Florida Gators.
he may look hot for chinese males, but he is pretty run of mill as hollywood actors go.

I say he's still exotic enough for white women

i hope you're not implying that good-looking asians are only on par with average-looking whites
what i think you're saying is that Hu Bing doesn't have that exotic Asian look...I have to disagree, I think he does have pretty pronouced Asian features

I know what Northwestern is trying to say. Hu Bing has classically chiseled features, but so does every Hollywood pretty boy. I don't exactly agree with it. I think should Hu Bing be cast in some recognizable role, he will bring a new edge to Asian Americans. It would really help Asians in the United States if there is a Chinese sex symbol in Hollywood.
