i do understand the illegitimacy of the israeli state, not really the state but the territorial claim of the state of israel, but now that they are there it's like really impossible to completely take them out of the lands that they have settled in. i believe that the lands that are take cannot be bought or conceded to them just for that fact, but really israelis are there no matter what we do. so to me i don't want to vote for either, we should just make best as possible these circumstances like maybe give up military retaliation and make actual mapped boundaries for the jurisdiction of which state. then we could give the palestinians the proper help to start their economy and their state functions.

if i absolutely had to choose ONE. i'd side with Palestinians. on the other hand, since i have more choices, i don't care if they annihilate each other.

yea, since Israel is an illegitimate state that the U.S. is backing up, i would have to admit some sympathy for the Palestinians. but i strongly oppose the terrorist tactics that the Muslims use in the Middle-Eastern conflict. (suicide bombers??? ......)

but yea, the Palestinians were there first and if you support the Israelis then you should picture a portion of your country being given away to make an independent state for another group of people....

I support the Palestinians desire for self-determination, but I think Palestinans got to get real with the political reality on the ground. I think they have to make some compromises and negotiate with Israel. And, I also believe sending people to do suicide missions is wrong - especially sending children to do it. Just me two cent. And to answer your question, I'm a secular Muslim who do not follow my religion closely. I don't pray 5 times a day and I drink alcohol. However, I have faith in my God and I believe terrorism is not the right path to national salvation. However, at the same time I sympathise with these people because I know the odds against them and the prejudices imposed on them by the western and zionist imperialists. And no, I will not take up arms, declare a Jihad and kill Americans. There are other ways to help my fellow Muslim brethrens.

It's funny that some of the very Muslims who supported the Palestianians now are the one who originally divided up their territory. There was no independent Palestians state when Jewish settlers started to move there. It was under occupation by other Muslims country.

Moreover, the more homicide bombing that extremist Islamist use the more sympathetic people will become to the Israelis. It's sad that Islam is now associated with terrorism. What happen to the days of Saladin when Islam was the tolerant religion. Back then Jews, Christians, and Muslims lived peacefully together in the Holy City.
