You should look at some statistics and learn proper grammar before posting threads about success and intelligence. I recommend hitting the books before dishing out words like "arrogance."
Yes, the Chinese have an unusually large control of Philippines business compared to their population size, that's a fact:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_FilipinoYes, Asians earn the highest in America--higher than whites.
Does communist China offer more opportunities than the Philippines? Probably. Do you have any idea how fast China's economy is growing? It's growing at a higher percentage rate than the Philippines.
Who's writing what? What the fu-k are you talking about?

Nope. I'm just presenting facts. You can't address an issue honestly unless you face the truth of the matter.
Saying "Chinese are jealous of Filipinos" does not make it so unless you can provide substantial evidence. Doing otherwise (i.e., not providing evidence) just makes Filipinos look unintelligent and uneducated.

Well I am not Chinese nor Filipino. I am Korean-American. But I might have an insight to this issue.
I was planning a trip to Philippines for a vacation. But I decided not to after speaking with few Filipinos that I know personally. The reason: Safety. There is a definite animosity towards Chineses by native Filipinos in Philippines. The commercial success by Chinese in Philippines are often resented by native Filipinos. Thus in extreme cases, rich Chinese businessmen are kipnapped and randsomed for large amount of money. And those Filipinos that I spoke with advised me not to go unless I know people there because I might be kipnapped by gangs who mistakenly took me as a son of rich Chinese businessmen.
I mean no harm, just speaking from my own experience.

Filipinos do not like the Chinese because they are jealous Despite the strong discrimination in the past, they are still able to climb up the economic ladder unlike your typical Filipino who'd just wait for the mango to fall off from the tree. I really don't like it when Chinese people who know nothing about the Philippines (or Chinese-Filipinos, for that matter) come into this thread.

Also, the OP has no idea what he's talking about. You can't compare Asian-Americans (which by the way, includes Filipinos) with the Chinese community in the Philippines. Income disparity is a much bigger problem in the Philippines than in the States. Although it's worth mentioning that the imbalance of wealth in America is quite shocking for a developed country...

Look around you. Look at many common Filipinos. Ride a jeepney, it's not uncommon for people to WAIT for someone to hand their fare to the driver even if they can in the first place. Look at hose jaywalkers. The pedestrian lane/overpass is only 20 steps away yet they don't want to cross there. The garbage bin is just ten steps away yet they still just drop their trash anywhere. What can be lazier than that? Many Filipinos are still living in this kind of mentality. Juan Tamad syndrome. Simple things they don't want to do it for themselves. What more with more complex and sophisticated things? I didn't mean to generalize. But a lot are still lazy...
You see some of the relatives of some OFWs. Instead of trying to help generate more income, here they are just bumming around, spending as if money is bottomless, when they can and are qualified get a decent job.

I think the Filipinos are a little laid back and happy go lucky people because of our Negrito blood in our veins because I observed that the Aeta Negritos in Zambales are very happy with their lives and they are not natural achievers they just want to live a simple happy life. Filipinos in general are very madiskarte meaning they are very resourceful especially in the field of science and engineering. Being rich is not a Filipino's dream they just want to live a simple comfortable and happy life by solving everyday problems which would make their lives easier. If you notice that Filipino inventions are making lives more easier and happier for Filipinos
http://www.filipinoinventors.org/directory.htmAbout Chinese economic dominace in the Philippines, its ok as long they do not abuse and exploit it like what happened in Darfur where the Chinese hired employees in the Chinese Oil Industry in Darfur and the employees were not well compensated which is the complain of the Darfur citizens and they think that they were being exploited.
