women have a great power in the philippines they are generally honored in the basis family unit and treated equal to men in society and have even lead the Philippines in all aspects of our society & government, one could say the highest being the presidency! two women have been presidents of the Philippines so far Corazon Aquino and Gloria Macapagal Arroyo aka GMA! And GMA has just recently been voted in for a 2nd term as president!
