i love indian songs, but i'm not familiar with song titles and singers. i was just wondering if anyone has any good recommendations? any would be fine! i'm not picky. thanx in advance!

heres some good artists i can recommend from the few i know.. not sure what genre you like to list specific albums/songs

oldies/ghazals - jagjit singh, mohammed rafi, mukesh, kishore humar, lata mangheskar, asha bhonsle, nusrat fateh ali khan, pankaj ushas, ghulam ali, zakir hussain, gulzar

indipop/remixes - adnan sami, euphoria, himesh reshammiya, dj suketu, dj aqeel, dj swami, stereo nation, bally sagoo, atif aslam, aryans, bombay vikings, lucky ali

bhangra - dr zeus, jazzy b, rishi rich, sukhbir, daler mehndi, RDB, punjabi mc, bally jagpal

and then there's heaps of playback singers for movies these days, don't really know which are better than others

thanks a bunch! i like a lot of the songs from movies. that's where i first heard indian music. my parents are big fans of indian movies/music as well.
