In this documentary the Dutch soldiers confess they massacred the people of Sulawesi. Maybe we can use it to bring this case to an international court?

Thanks for the link.
I think its to late to bring this to the international court. It will be also a difficult case, because Raymond Westerling is dead now dan Belanda/KNIL/VOC melakukan banyak hal2 yg sangat buruk di Indonesia. They have doing/commit(sorry for my bad English) many humanrightsabuses and warcrimes in the 'Politionele Acties'.

What has always bothered me is the power that Dutch veterans of the Politionele Acties have in government policy. The average Dutch man, woman or child does not have a clue about what happened back then. And the ones who do, usually condemn the entire period. But not the veterans. Many of them are still expecting the Dutch public to bestow them with praise and medals for what they did back then. They are still frustrated that their war effort has largely been ignored by the Dutch public.
It is for this reason that they succesfully blocked Queen Beatrix' attempt to apologize for the colonial past during her statevisit to Indonesia in 1995. It is also for this reason that not one single Dutch government ever had ties with Sukarno, and that it took more than half a century before the Dutch government officially recognized 1945 as the year of Indonesian independence. It even took more than half a century before a Dutch prime minister publicly recognized that the Indonesian people suffered under colonialism! The Dutch Queen up till now has been forbidden to make such statements under pressure from veteran groups! Compare that to Indonesia's relation with East Timor, which is excellent compared to the historical precedent between Indonesia and the Netherlands.
Let's hope that this documentary will finally bring out the truth. For a country that dares to lecture the United States over Guantanamo Bay, it's time that the Netherlands faces its own ugly and dark past. In all fairness, most Dutch people view the colonial period as something bad and shamefull. But it's time they get beyond their indifference and stand up to these veteran groups.
