I can't stand people who forget where they come from too. I remember when I was 18. I sold cell phones in the mall and there was this Korean woman who came to try and buy a phone from me. She was quite a character. She looked liked a pimped out Asian Pamela Anderson, especially with the tons of plastic surgery all over her face and huge @$$ breast implants. It looked like she had butt implants too. She mostly covered her eyes with these huge sunglasses. When her husband came and he was so redneck. It made me uncomfortable because he was saying all of these derogatory sexist and racist remarks to her! The funny part was when they both left, the wife nocked down one of the dummy phones with her left boob!

Sometimes I just think that a lot of these ugly racist white guys just "settle" for very ugly Asian ladies (no respectable Asian guy would want an ugly whore to be his wife anyways) because no other women want them, so they make it up by making their Asian wives do crazy things too.

You're a wise one and not fooled by appearances. You're right, there are men who marry asian females to sexually conquer and debase another race and to feel superior to them as well. I've even met american men when I was younger who spoke very disparagingly of asians when they were married to one and I was surprised but I came to realize some people are into power trips and ownership. Some people feel that by being married to another race they are owning it or having some control over it and is especially the case with asian fetishes. And I hate to say it but most if not all of these relationships seemed negative, perverted, or very degrading to the asian woman even while her stupidity or her own lack of integrity allowed her to notice.

Because racism has different motivations and can be expressed in different ways. There are racists who don't want to have anything to do with and there are racists who are supremacists. Also, worse, some people can be ambivalent and be sexually attracted or have a fetish but still look down on the others race, feel they have a right to boss them or use them. Those are one of the worst kind. They are similar to the sexual predators who go to foreign countries and sexually use them.

I'd say the callers and their fan base have racists among them. I'm not sure if I'd be ready to define JV and Elvis as such, but they are definitely disrespectful, offensive, and immature. I'd be ashamed to be an asian related to any of these guys.

JV and Elvis kind of remind me of a few white posters here in that much of their stance on racism or other related issues comes from the perspective they get as white people who, not ironically, tend not to understand how serious a problem racism is, or how deeply rooted in very old, racist traditions that mocking minorities and other peoples is. Read some of the comments on the John Liu page. Some people are criticizing "Asians have no sense of humor" which reveals the ignorance outlined above. They also fall in this bracket. Do I have a problem with JV and people who defend him in the name of "get a sense of humor"? Absolutely. Is Natash Yi a disgrace? Absolutely.

per se it's a "no-no", but how big or how consequential that no-no is depends on context. things said by one group of people who have a history of lynching another group of people are going to have far more weight than those said by the lynched group about their lynchers.
