1) Tell the Truth, Why do Singaporean Kids already have white hair?

2) Why do Student from Hwa Chong and other Junior Colls still tuck their shirts in even outside school / after school? Jeez.... + whats with the uniforms? guys use something like a janitor's wear and the girls use maternity wear (raffles Girl schools)?

3) are singaporeans offended when someone says that singlish sounds bad?

4) How does the Anything Cola taste like?

5) Har Par Villa ...Where is it? and whats inside?

1. Because they're too stressed up with school. What those kids are learning in primary school now...they only learn it at the beginning of high school in America...

2. cause they're such goody two shoes and boring as hell..oh the uniforms are just sooo blah....actually..most all girls sch have uniforms that look maternity. I went to Paya Lebar MGSS and urgh...u should have seen the things we did with our uniforms whenever we stepped out of school....(take the belts off..unbutton the inner shirts.....) n the teachers used to go spy on us at hougang mall, heartland mall and orchard n catch us...n then we had to go detention..OH those were the days.......

3. Not really cause the truth is It does sound bad...its funny but sounds really bad to foreigners..

4. what the hell is anything cola? the brand is "anything cola" or do u mean anything cola as in any drinks that end with cola?

5. Haw Par Villa is at Pasir panjang road in Queenstown right?? one of those ulu areas....not sure what is in there now cause i have been out for so long...but there used to be this dragon ride( roller coaster) with water all ard it n whenever the ride went down the slope/hill(i 4got whats the word for it but when the thing is going down) u'll get splashed with water!!!! hehe! but it used to be like an amusement park with lots of chinese mythology stuff ard so it was kinda like a chinese amusement park?!

Oh and there was also a "10 courts of hell" in there...

1. why is it that most 'poreans (esp. ethnic chinese) supress their sneeze? i observed this among my
colleagues mostly women.

2. why do "ah bengs" prominently display their orange comb in their jeans back pocket? is this a gang thing?

Its good manners to sneeze with your gob shut. Over the years, SG Chinese are obsessed with cleanliness and hygiene. it's a national thing, much like the japanese who are even more obsessed with hygiene and would pop a methane removal pill so that the smell of their involuntary farts don't linger around in the public toilets.

no....this is not true. It was the trend back in the 80s or 90s...but not anymore

while it's true that's its good manners to sneeze discreetly, some traditional SG chinese i talked to say everytime you sneeze you are "releasing" your soul out in the open. maybe that's what they tell their kids back in the olden days.
