I have nothing against Japan, but I would say Miss Korea should have won the title. Nevertheless my congratulation to her for bringing the crown to Asia. The last time Asia won was in 2000 by Miss India.

Miss Japan? cant be serious. I dont see any miss universe quality in her. I didnt find anything that would make her to the top. Something's definitely wrong. And she aint beautiful at all and im sayin that with honest opinion. so im pretty surprised at the result. :/

Whoa, is that really true? a little surprised lol. There were so many beautiful women and i didnt think miss Japan was all that special or over the top. I didnt even think she would be in top 5. Very unexpected result. well congrats for Japan for lucky win i guess. still scratchin my head though.

i wanted the miss japan from LAST yr to win. but the title went to japan THIS yr. and congrats to her!

nope, and i think this was probably the best ever out of Korea. She was a very strong contestant and most popular. And was surprised she lost to Japan which i think couldnt even compare.

well. . .i think it is hard for any of us to really judge who should have won. there are many behind the scenes and events leading up to tonight that for any of us to pick the best one would be near impossible. granted, i guess this event is the event during which they showcase what they got, but it's an isolated event that is very one dimensional. congrats to miss japan and to all the contestants!

i think it really hurts the contestant when she cannot or does not speak english well. i thought miss korea's answer was one of the best.

It was because it was only her and Brazil (1st runner up) that actually answered the damn question. Korea said something strange about wanting a wallet that never dried up.

Actually neither Japan or most of the other contestants actually answered their questions and instead gave the "stock" PC answer.

And while Korea's answer was stupid, it wasn't with regard to any gold-digger tenencies (she wanted a never-empy wallet to do missionary work; overzealous religiosity seems to make people a bit dim).

Congrats to Miss Japan but on pure physical attributes - she shouldn't have made the top 5 (the 2 contestants from Africa got robbed) - neither should have Miss USA.

It's just the 2 photos - they have different bone structures, shape of eyes, cheeks and Lee's face is more symmetrical - plus, Lee does have a more ample bosum, not to mention a considerably toner physique).

The competition is over, and you can not change the verdict. To be honest, I have never though Japan have won when I was looking at her pictures. But when I saw the competition on tv, she has potential.

If Korea didn't win this year, it will have many opportunities in the future. I know Honey Lee is not the only pretty girl in Korea.
