Dame, that's the consequence for the anti-Gun mentality of so many Chinese Americans.

Making themselves vulnerable to these kind of things, and standing up to their hardheaded ignorance and saying things like:

"I don't need a gun. As long as I'm nice to everyone and don't get involved in these kind of criminal activities, I'll be safe. No-one will attack us as long as we mind our own business."

And when you tell them stories like these, like I've been trying to tell my family the story of Tookie killing the Taiwanese hotel owners, they'll say:

"Don't worry, the chances of these kinds of things happening to us are little to none."

Some Chinese Americans will never understand the true nature of other people, and leave themselves vulnerable.
