Ok so the data is from 1963, point is Chinese are everywhere. People find it somewhat amusing to find there is Chinese settled in Africa and the Caribbean but the Chinese have been moving about the world for over 200 years seeking oppurtunities. In fact my own family can be tracked back to being in Mauritius since the late 1800s. So, are you or someone you know settled in what is seen as an 'unusual' location? Greenland, Iceland, North and Western Africa have particularly few Chinese.

The most strange place overseas chinese go to is Jamaica and Nicaragua.
