what are your thoughts on this subject?

after the visit of george bush to india a deal was soon struck that the united states would agree to import mangos from india and in exchange india has to allow the sale of harley davidson.

i think india may end up earning more money in the long run. while the motorcycles cost a lot of money the average person here cannot buy one. and once a person buys one it is unlikely that they buy many more. in the usa the market for mangos is large and they are cheap plus people will want to buy them over and over.

the deal is not meant to harm any nation but is a friendly gesture which is good. i think the members of the richer society will buy the us motorcycles as they are popular for style/image/quality.

well it could hurt indian salesmen though these bikes will probably be too expensive for the average person to buy. some cycle dealers will be hit but i dont think it will be to badly.
