Ok, So my Dad bought Nokia N76 for my Birthday, and the seller told him that we're not allowed to remove the Yellow paper(or is it called Yellow Plastic Strip) thing that's on the Sim Card tray and if we do, the Phone will not work and Nokia Service can't Help... Is this True?? I bet a Milion dollars the Seller is Lying cuz how can we take out the tray to put in the Sim Card if we cannot remove the Yellow plastic Strip thing?? BTW the Yellow Strip thing looks like those paper stuff looks like a thing that you usually remove to turn on an Electronic

Also he said that the phone will not work anywhere else except Singapore (where I live there) and that my Dad had to pay 75$ to Unlock it so it can be used anywhere else....WTF.. Is this true also?? what I know is that that is Up to the SIM Card....

I Get a Huge feeling that he is Lying because I read in other forums before that Singaporean Handphone/Electronic Sellers (espsially in Stores in Lucky Plaza and Sim Lim) like to Lie about what we want and offer us a product that is Uglier but More Expensive... He offered my dad the Nokia E65 which is S$800+ but looks like crap!

E65 and N76 are in the same class, smartphone
Just that N76 is in the fashion line, while the E65 is in the business line, so if you are a teen, get the N76.
About the yellow paper, just pull the damn thing out.
About unlocking the phone. Did your dad buy the phone seperately by itself, or did he sign up a contract to get it.
If he got it from a contract, then you have to unlock it to use it with other service provider.
