Federal Republic of the Philippines

me and my filipino homeboys in the navy call it PI but not on here because you guys confuse it with pacific islander. philippine islands sounds cool

Who started the PI thing? I know RP was started by Pinoys so it's best everyone respects us by calling us RP and not PI, if Pi was indeed started by foreigners.

I think americans started the PI thing. I saw some pictures of the old Philllipines and it will usually state, Manila, PI

P.I. is an obsolete and outdated term. nobody in the Philippines uses P.I., most would not know what it means.

RP all the way. PI sounds retarded, might be mistaken as private investigator. (Magnum, PI)

But there are more than 7000 islands in the Phils.
