Oh, sweet, next year I'll check it out. Wish they'd come to the UK, that'd be a lot cheaper.
I'm pretty new with this Jrockscene, one of my best friends let me hear some MUCC, L'Arc and others, they're pretty interesting. I'm so bored with most of the American and British/ English-language entertainment. Most fans I've asked said Jrock has a distinctive, original sound. Hmm, well, I need to hear more songs before I make conclusion myself. But their lyrics are a lot more ehm poetic than most American ones. And there are like subgenres of rock, like visual kei, which is not really my thing.

I saw some pretty weird stuff that day.
1. Fat ugly white girl wearing the 'nihon' headband with the rising sun in the middle.
2. White girl dressed in Kimono
3. Two friends giggling and debating whether the Japanese man with the camera works for NHK or tv-asahi.
4. The 'Holier-than-thou' group who thinks they're the best because they went to Japan
5. White girl who brags she bought her wooden slippers from 'Nagoya' and her kimino from 'Kyoto'
It's soooooooooooooooooo eerie.
1. I've seen non-J people wearing bags, shirts, jackets with the japanese flag/red sun on them, in school or on street. I don't blame them, if you only look at the 'design', it's pretty nice, but it has negative connotations for some people.
2. How is that weird? I've seen non-Indian people dress in sari and Chinese/Taiwanese dress in kimono and so on. It's a sign of admiration. But it may also be just fun to dress up like that, it attracts attention. And at that con, only positive. I myself have worn Thai attire, I loved it.
3. How is that worth mentioning? I meet childish people everywhere.
4. That IS weird. My friend calls them the 'elitists', people who find themselves better fans, cause they went to their concerts/ to Japan. What a fu-ktards.
5. That is rather funny, she is still a fu-ktard, sorta.
