Well from someone who just returned from the philippines, i noticed alot of public restrooms WITHOUT any toilet paper. Especially in restaurants, which kinda sucks. I even saw a TV commercial that said that 71% of metro manila's public restrooms have no tiolet paper. So what's the beef with toilet paper over there? Is it short in supply or there is a lack of resources to make some?
Kiss_the_Girls
lol i think you are meant to use water to wash it off
ham_let
lol oxymoron.

.

but really, why use toilet paper when there's a tabo right next too the seat? embarassedlaugh.gif

toilet paper is VERRRRRRY expensive in most developing countries.

that's what my parents do (they always get a bucket of water from the sink b4 going to the restroom, that's how I know), but why do that in a PUBLIC restroom? I mean there was no bucket for water to be in just an empty wall. So what can you do?
Kiss_the_Girls
bahahahahahhah damn, i would never used public toilet in the Phils

when I can no longer hold it in if I am in a mall, I'd rush to the supermarket area, buy a pack of table napkins (I don't want people to notice that I'm carrying a round of toilet paper embarassedlaugh.gif) and then rush to the bathroom.
Piso
lol i did that too.

Haha I'm never going to use a public Filipino bathroom. I was at a store when I thought I couldn't possibly hold it any longer. After finding the bathroom (C.R.) I was hit with the smell, and the extreme sickness of it. Just from the sight and smell, I was able to hold it longer, haha. laugh.gif

I HATE Filipino bathrooms. thumbsdown.gif

Oh the Canadian bathrooms are just as bad too. In the rural Ontario only 40% of public restrooms have no toliet paper.

Enough fiber in your diet you wont have to wipe.

Thats weird. But Philippine bathrooms are small. The toilet is always wet. The floor is flooded. The light is extremely dim. Their is a strong odor. The FLUSH dosen't work. Everytime your in their you'll see a cockroach crawling by. There is just so many things wrong with their bathrooms.

Even my own dad, when we built our vacation home over there, he completely ruined the bathroom. The shower is right next to the toilet so, the toilet paper gets wet. Plus it seems like it was designed for midgets.

go to fastfoods like Jollibee or Chowking you will find a toilet paper in their toilet... When nature calls i usually look for this fastfoods.. LOL embarassedlaugh.gif

Huh. I was there about a month ago, and man it stinks over there. I know what you've been describing. I kinda wish that every restroom outside the USA would be better.

Oh and to the guy who thinks that Chowking and Jollibee would have such a thing, that's a lie. I went to Chowking in Legazpi, NO TOILET PAPER over there. I just had to use Chowking napkins as my de facto toilet paper.

TRUE... I went to Jollibee, nope the bathrooms are still $hit. I went to Max's Fried Chicken, or Aristocrates they have great bathrooms. Its funny how some of the worst bathrooms have a fee, I mean seriously they have the nerve to charge?

My sister and I have developed a routine where when we see a bathroom, we ask each other how was it? Haha. If they could just have a higher standard, it would make the stay there so much better.

Toilet paper? Philippines? confused.gif Should those two words go in the same sentence?

When I went on vacation there, my grandparents always made me carry tissues in my purse. I wondered why until I used a public "cr" for the first time. LOL
