Whatever happened to him????? anybody knows?

There was a one page article about him in last week's(or maybe 2 weeks ago) Straits Times, Life! section.

Asia Bagus was really bagus.. If not because of the show, there wouldnt be an Indonesian diva, Krisdayanti with powerful voice and many other singers mainly from Indonesia and Malaysia..

Anyway, he is now getting better in his career and also wanna make the Malay community and the youth to be more successful etc etc etc...
And working on a show in Arts Central Channel as a host of one short segment in the show.

Wasnt he like a guest judge for one of those talent shows?? Singapore idol i think? or was that d!ck Lee??

We cant forget Najib Ali. He came out with the Asia Bagus show. And with the show lots of rich good singers today like Indonesia's Krisdayanti.

Those singers wouldnt be as popular or wouldnt be a singer if there wasnt Asia Bagus. All thanks to Najib Ali.

I remember he told on the radio that he wanna have one TV channel which is a combination of Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.. Hopefully it will happen.. Thats good..

All I know is, after some times, Indonesia bailed out from the show. I know that the show was still going on without Indonesia, and after that, I don't know anymore....

I remember when an innocent indonesian contestant being asked by Najib: who is his co host's name? (Tomoko).
This dumbly innocent contestant say "TOMATO". (coz Najib deliberately has brief her wrong info back in backstage).

I love this guy. The last time I saw him on tv was like.....4 years ago when he became the host for an award show in Indonesia with Sarah Sechan. WACKO!

Najib is damn funny guy. I wonder if he's paired with Jamie Aditya to host a program. Should be hilarious.

I too remember Asia Bagus very fondly. In one episode, an Indonesian contestant- now semi-celeb Sahrul Gunawan was asked by Najib ' what did you do in Singapore?' Sahrul's reply: Shopping window!

LOL I vaguely remember how funny Najib was in Asia Bagus. Prolly because I watched it during my childhood. There should be new ASEAN Asia Bagus!
