these questions are probably of no significance.
because of my own lack of knowledge and the need for insights i am compelled to ask:

?does anyone know if laos celebrated independence day
?from whom <--- france and before new gov't. (1975)

I would guess that we are too young to have seen it or have pictures of such events.
it would be a rare finding if anyone could have kept any photos.

i wonder if the laos gov't encourages such celebration now...
if so, it would appear to be a contradiction.... or would it?

my birthday is on the day of lao independance day!
i stayed in laos during my birthday and no one seemed to be celebrating anything about the independance day...

everything is celebrated for lao national day on 2nd december
