So...my brother is thinking about naming his first child (BOY) Jullian. He's gonna be half Mexican from his mom, luckly she isn't choosing the name. What are some GOOD Filipino names that we have in the Philippines.

Not names like Boy, or Tantan, or Carlcarl, or, Totoi

Seriously now that I think about it, Filipinos have wierd names.

It's weird but it's true. I was named at the moment of my birth my parents told me, they didn't have anything good to name me prior to that.

By the way, do you have pics of the baby, just wanna know how he looks like.

Wow, I would have thought that they were just nicknames as well. Actually, I guess that this could make things easier, since no one has to remember their real names separately (important if one is involved in business or anything of a legal nature). icon_smile.gif

More classic-style names that are found in the Philippines: Iñaki, Iñigo, Jordi, Iker, Patxi, Txanton, Mikel, Hermenegildo, Federico (this one is cool, b/c he can have a nickname like "Rico" -- Rico Ong!).

I also like two-part, first names (double-barrel names are so Monte Carlo): Juan Miguel, Luis Enrique, Juan Pedro, José Joaquín, Antonio María, Juan Pablo, Juan Antonio, Manuel María, Jaime Augusto, José Fernando
BirdofHighSeas
Hernadez Cortes

Plus I have no clue why his father is gonna name him Julian. I mean, from what source did he get Julian?

P.S - Kian Seng: You may need to repost the pics of the parents, they don't show up.
