I've just noticed that the Philippines is like the non-Western nation that has such an appetite for such American music to be found. I mean even American country music is played (although not much). I'd like to know why?

I guess so. At least. I have a feeling the Black Eyed Peas is more popular over there than over here, where they're looked down upon on.

Then how come I try to stream music from Europe the only one playing American music are the ones from England, while all the other Euro nations don't have US music on the radio.

well im not sure what stations you have streamed and from what countries youve streamed from... but the really popular radiostations in europe if you take a look at their playlist something like 70-90% of all the songs are pretty much from USAmerica.

for example if i turn on the television now 9 out of the 10 danish channels are showing either a series, movie, documentary from USA.
TV3, TV3+, Channel 5 and Channel 4 all danish channels owned and made here show up to 95% american shows every single dayTV3 and TV3+ especially. Its pretty much been like this since the end of WW2 with Rock n Roll and what not... europe is flodded with everything USAmerican.

Not really. Many people especially in the provinces or the depressed areas sing their hearts out to American songs without understanding most of them.
