I've been reading this forum for quite some time now and have noticed alot of the same people making comments and throwing criticisms of others. It's all good in that it keeps the flow of ideas fresh and lively.
The thing that gets to me is that new people don't hang around long enough or get banned for really small "violations". I don't see the benefit of banning or suspending someone unless they were to get overboard with the obvious racism or threats. But getting suspended or banned for bringing up the same thread months after it was discussed is, for new members, beneficial to this forum. How else will new persepectives be discovered on old topics?
I've also noticed that some of these moderators are really sensitive and show double standards when deciding to ban someone. What are your standards anyway?
I hope one of you moderators can help explain your standards; enlighten us so that we don't fall victim to your sensitive feelings. We all know that some of you have characteristics that are obvious in your replies towards certain topics especially race since this is a racially emphasized forum or it wouldn't have sections based on Asian ethnic groups.
