totoo kaya??? hindi pala pretty ang mermaid just like Marina
Not sure if this is really true?
A friend of mine sent these pictures to me, It was located in one of the province in
the Philippines, particularly in the islands of visayas. These could actually be a mermaid who was accidentaly killed by a fisherman.

i've seen a picture of a type of fruit fairy in thailand. and it look like a real skeleton and i ithink they did dna testing on it and turn out inconclusive (?)... this reminds me of it. anyway in thailand the fruit fairy is like prayed to and considered authentic or whatever... this is just hmm....

are mermaids even part of native filipino folklore? that might help to deteremine its authenticity... like what about unicorns? are horses even native to the pi?

weelly
and you betcha
but i'm HAPPY being the ugliest of the ugleez. it dont bodder me. well actually i'm not entirely ugly. you know how they say even some of the most beautiful people in the world have a bad angle? anyway, i happen to have a 'good' angle. and if you saw me in that particular angle you might even say that me and that zombie da-eng are pretty even when it comes to looks. but it's a very small angle. if you turned me a nano fraction of a degree to the left or to the right, i'm king of the ugleez again. but it's okay, i have a good heart (and it's 360 degrees good*). and that's all that matters thank you very much.
*(well, it's a goal at least)
by the way, if you cut off the torso of that thing, it almost looks good enough to eat. i bet it would go great with hot kanin, some suka and lots of bawang. plus the bawang could come in handy too in case it should decide to come back to life (i just can't seem to get myself off that aswang topic)

Sometimes sea creatures like Dugong and manetee are sometimes confused for mermaids by fishermen.
