Sad that the 3 countries had to go their separate ways and the violence that occurred as a result was deploreable but at I think it was inevitable. If they didnt partition, islamists would still be calling for it to this day.$hit they still want more land.lol.ie kashmir. Think about chechnya and russia. But then India was supposed to have balkanised anyway and yet its now the largest democracy so maybe things would've worked out well had they not partitioned. We'll never know.
Best thing to hope for now is a free trade agreement throughout south asia.Something like the EU.
