OH WOW. It'll be so cool if it really happened!!! Then perhaps history could be changed.

lol time machine.

sounds like a science fantasy.

ain't going to work.
you can't go to the future and you can't go back to the past.
you can predict what will happen in the future... but you can't not just go into the future..
that is ridiculous.. and going back to the past?? muahahahhahahahahahaha...

stop dreaming.

Bwoy
Screw putting money on Mike Tyson, Im putting it all on Buster Douglas this time!!

Going to the future is not that far off buddy. Going back to the future is probably much harder but not in the realm of impossible.
BamarMinthar
well i thought travelling forwards through time is already possible. haha. but from this i understand that going back in time would be like creating an artificial blackhole type thing. which is impossible in current technology

Technically base on the current theory one can already "go to the future", every time an astronaut come back from a mission he/she technically travel into the future by a very very very very small amount. But the theory also say that it is impossible to travel to the past without totally destructing one own existence, so uh....good luck with that. LOL

Heard the same thing from my physics/math teachers...

If such a machine/device/time travel pathway were possible, then it would be ok to travel forward, but you can only go back to the time you left...
meaning if you left on Sept. 11, 2007 to go 500 years in the future, if going back was possible, it would only take you back to Sept. 11, 2007, and not any date before.

It would be amazeing and i wouldn't rule it out, who'd ever thought that all these robotics would be replaceing manual labour in say factory jobs or just PC' computers alone with internet, or how about solar cars.

It may happen.

I remember that day. the odds were 8:1.

albert einstein said that the theory of reletivity that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light under any circumstances. anything faster is the result of time travel.

now i heard on the radio a week ago that some scientists has found something that is faster than the speed of light

i wouldn't laugh this off, it's quite possible. highly unlikely, but possible.

If Einstein still correct, it is not possible by conventional mean for a body of mass to go fast than light; hence, not possible to travel back in time via travel for sake. The first dream we should have is teleportation that maintain and reconfigure at complex molecular level accurately (yeah right), if you can even do that then no. A more realistic goal would be to build a communication or link so one can "see" the past or future event or to detect and verify the existence of other spacial dimension, but if you can even manage to do that you will be world famous let alone create a "time machine" Bogus!!!! We will all kill each other and the human race will go extinct before that even happen

Are the Israelis planning to go back in time and kill all the people who oppressed them in the past? (like Hitler, Christians, Babylonians, Egyptians, etc.)

I remember that day. the odds were 8:1.

The odds were much higher than that. The odds of Tyson winning and Douglas losing was 42:1. Anything less than that would have been considered an insult to Tyson's fame, but it sucks for all the people who were expecting Tyson to win.
