korea has definitely stepped it up art wise...like all those magna carta illustrations are done by a kroean guy.
I still find the manhwas lackluster story and plot wise.
have you read all these series? are they any good? which would be your top choice?

O_o i've never read a manhwa before... any recommendations?
EDIT: i've read ragnarok before but i did not like the storyline so i stopped, hey is there any manhwa that they've turned into an animation?
*shrugs* I don't know what you guys like, to each his own what I find interesting you may think is $hit, what you find cool I think is gay and so on.
Blade of the Phantom Mask (Shin Angyo Onshi) is a good one, its complete with 17 volumes and there is a anime/movie made in 04 and made it to US via "ADV films"
Chrono Code is a bit confusing
QUOTE
"When the promotional material for the second volume of a manga series begins, "Wondering just what the heck is going on?" you know you're in trouble. It's a shame that the first volume of Chrono Code plunges readers into such confusion, because it has real potential. Ji-Soo Chung is an orphaned schoolgirl in search of her missing younger brother in Seoul, Korea, in 1994. But in the 23rd century she may be Yun-hee, a "chronoid" with time-traveling capabilities and a colleague of the swash-buckling Blade (who, in 1994, is Ji-Soo's Russian teacher, Professor Nicolai).
Blade's search for Yun-hee, who is apparently a powerful time traveler, overlaps with his pursuit of Doctor Joseph, another chronoid who has changed the confidential code for a satellite called Riverside that has the power to stop an apocalyptic 23rd-century war.
It's fair to say that Chrono Code is suffering from an overabundance of plot and a dearth of background. But its art is lovely, combining fight scenes with dreamy splash pages, and the story is intriguing, despite a sometimes clunky translation. Manga fans who have the patience to follow the meandering plot should enjoy what they find. (Aug.)

ID_entity I like but Im a pretty heavy gamer so..... MMO gamers would probably like it.
Rebirth by Kangwoo Lee is really good its 20 volumes+
Utopia's avenger only has two volumes but I like it modern spin-off of Hong Gil-Dong, great art
Phantom is only two volumes so far and is Mechs so..... (if you like Mechs you'll probably like it)
NOW/Chung Rhang are heavy action oriented with the former being slightly more humorus, I like the art
I would go to a local bookstore and just browse though what you like, I don't know what you guys like.
edit: Zero beginning of the Coffin is good, if a little perverted (depends on your standards)
NOW is a squel to Chung Rhang, you can still read NOW but you'll probably find a number of WTFs
