jologs = tangalogs ? The tangalogs invented that stupid word and that word will forever remain a mystery to the bisaya folks.

JOLOGS - Derived from the combined words daing (salted fish), tuyo (a type of dried fish) and itlog (egg). Dyolog then became Jolog, a term for someone who is tacky, but implied in a more negative tone and often referred to people who belong to the lower class of society.

i've always considered it to be jologs when you comb your hair in public places like on the streets while walking, when taking pub transportation etc.... i just think that way... is that bad?



and judy ann santos. i respect her in a sense that she's a very good actress but she just comes to my list when i think of jologs (whatever JOLOGS means).

and oh, i consider myself JOLOGS!

Slang words like tsika, tsugi, charing, etc... is Jologs.

Wearing fake shoes like Nike, Adidas, Rebook from the banketa is Jologs.

it just means baduy... or probinsyano fashion style/lifestyle

in my group of friends we sometimes connotate jologs as"koboy"... or cowboy.. like you can rough it up and not always have high class everything...

so jologs to us isn't that much of a negative thing..but that's just with me and my friends ^^

somehow its meaning got flexible - can be negative or positive. depending on how a certain group uses it...
it can be downright passe, bland or friendly joke of how a certain friend does things...
