Actually, Afrocentrics just study and compare African history to European history. i.e. Cleopatra debate. And also it's more focused on the influences of European people from African achievements not conquering people or whatever you was trying to say. Afrocentrism is mostly & always compared to Eurocentrism.
This is a really strange topic because the two honestly have really nothing in common to compare to in my opinion but hey, whatever.

I actually graduated with a double concentration in Finance and Information Systems from grad school. I would consider myself an educated person.

Which also brings me to mention that ancient egyptians were berbers and didn't look all that much different than modern egyptians. The only reason why black people like to claim egypt is because it's the only african nation that's ever achieved anything world renowned.

I have seen of a few Afrocentrists who claimed the three earliest civilizations (Mesopotamia, Egypt, and the Indus Valley) were founded by black Africans. Egypt (or at least Upper Egypt) may have had a black presence, but the other claims are unfounded.

The early Homo Sapiens who defeated the Neanderthals, Cro-Magnons, etc. and colonized most of the Old World were black people from Africa. Most of the basic tools that were invented during the Paleolithic era came from Africa, including stone tools, knives, controlled fire, sterilization of food and water, cooking, shelters, clothing, blades, boats, sticks, mines, needles, etc. You humans would have died out a long time ago if black Africans didn't invent those basic tools or if they didn't expand across the Old World (not that I mind if humans die out, humans are a plague anyway).
There was a Korean nationalist user here last year who claimed Sumerians were related to Altaic peoples (including Koreans). Actually, most Native American tribes did have black slaves. When europeans brought over black slaves and they escaped from their white owners, quite often, they were captured by Native American tribes and enslaved. That is a reason why so many black americans have native american blood in them.
It was the berbers of north africa and arabs who were the first to enslave blacks and the jews who funded the trans-atlantic slave trade.
It appears the only people who did not enslave blacks were east and south Asians. This was probably due to the distant proximity.
