I feel like Chinese people are carrying a huge burden for all Asians. I often hear White people say "Chinese dude" this or "Chinese dude that". I asked few people why they keep saying "Chinese" whenever they are talking about Asians. Guess what all of them said? They said its because majority of Asians are Chinese. I asked them why don't they just use "Asian" instead of "Chinese". They said Asians includes Russian,Indian and other countries of Asia. Being Chinese myself, i was offended. I wanted to beat these guys up! This really ruins the image of Chinese. Why do we need to carry this damn heavy burden, why? What I find more offending is that none Chinese Asians are also make fun of Chinese. Many of us are the victims and we are forced to clean the dirty jobs done by the real criminal. Where can i find justice to this cruelty?


And whenever there is a backlash against Asians (Non-Chinese) in Western countries, we Chinese people get in $hit for non-Chinese people's problem.

From what I understand, that because many Zainichi Koreans do not assimilate to Japan and keep their Joseon nationality they are not seen as citizens and are treated like 2nd class citizens and many do join/create Yakuzas thus causing crime which is sterotyped on all Zainichi and then Koreans in general, Japanese are known for discriminating against everyone IMO Chinese are treated poorly in Japan too.

I've heard from many place that Koreans do sometimes join Yakuzas for desperate measures, but I was stricly referring to the word "ran" as in leading the Yakuzas.

First of all, there is no burden here. No one should be ashamed to be called Chinese, Asian or otherwise. However, I agree with the above poster when he says its a shared burden. Most Asians are assumed to be Chinese as well, so I think it is a general perception of all Asians that is condoscendingly spoken about.

Nope, none of the people are Tibetans or Chinese visitors. All three of them are residents of the Indian state of Nagaland. The last one, Akunuo Kherzie, was a contestant in the Miss India 2007 competition recently. The top two are just random people.
