i just attended a convention thinking it was gonna be awesome and full of good looking cosplayers, but i was so wrong. it was full of ugly nerds!!!

I have only been to one in NY which i covered.. it was fun, but not something that i am mad hyped for.

i've been to 2. it's fun ^_^. i don't know why you'd think there would be good looking people there. actually, there was a guy dressed as red link and he was pretty hot. and totally badass for dressing as red link.

i went as WW link, girl mario, and next time i'm going as SSB:Brawl princess peach. my costumes always suck but people appreciate the character you dress as more than your workmanship .

theres going to be an anime convention like around next weekend and i think we're going..its going to be my first ^_^ lol i hope they sell those anime hat thingies i would so buy one and i hope they sell plush b/c i really want a kon plush to hold to sleep ^_^ as for dressing up o.O no thanks lol maybe i'll wear a sand village head band like sakura but thats about it ha

I try to go to Anime Expo in LA every year. I never cosplay or anything, and most of the time don't buy anything. It's still fun to go, and there are a lot of nice looking girls there too.

why do people get so angry at fat people who cosplay? seesh

what defines being good at cosplay?

choosing charachters that you closely resemble for sure. i passed by i group of people who dressed as the charachters from a show, and the fat one played the skinny charachter and the skinny guy played the fat charachter.

the people there were so doky. i was also wondering if they even realized it.

even though the convention was filled with mostly white folks i never thought about it that way..i paid more attention to some of their costumes plus i was on a mission to buy me a hat and a kon stuffed animal lol i saw some fat sailormoons though which was very uncalled for lol

I dont mind cosplay, but it does get annoying when the fat chicks pick girls from doa and stuff where they should have more clothing on to cover their rolls

i've met a lot of these people and they're very nice. i don't see them as people "trying to be japanese" but as people who are just really into japanese culture and entertainment.

I like some anime, but I've never been thrilled with conventions, (anime, gaming, or comic conventions). Their always full of the uber-geekers. Nice people, but a little hygiene never hurt anybody.

Lol. Out of th hundreds of geeky girls who visit these things thier might be a dozen or so GOOD or DESCENT looking ones, rarely a hot-hot one. And that's before I find out that thier personalities are that of a log or a rotting vegetable. It really is like filtering thru alot of ugly to find one hot person or for even somebody worth the trouble to meet. Maybe it's easier for for girls to find guys.

Speaking of Anime conventions there is one in Sydney Town Hall Clock tower on Sat morning at 10 am and Sun day .

Anyways I'm gonna head there tomorrow and see what the buzz is all about.

It's gonna be my first Anime convention.

Anyways I did notice some decent chicks this friday night when I bought a one day ticket.

It might be pretty interesting tomorrow and I'm gonna grab my camera and post some pics in the pic forum.
