Any of ya in here hunt deers or wild hogs?

Here is a picture of me and my uncle.

Those hogs have their love ones waiting for them to come home. I guess their families are hurting and crying for losing their love ones. Your enjoyment is someone else pain.

hunting deers: why do you have to hunt for them? they usually ram into your car when you pass them.

come to think of it, this animal eat anything. It's sort of a life cycle, the animal might eat poop, then human hunt them down and consume them.

You just want the poop. Eat the hog, poop out, and give it to chanoi.

My family and I have been living in one of the SE states and there are a lot of agriculture lands out here, and wild pigs are nuisane to the farmers because they destroyed the lands and ate the crops. So we are free to hunt them year round per state regulation, all you have to do is ask one of the farmers to hunt pigs on their land and they will be gladly let you. The wild pig tastes better than the porks that you bought at the store because of all the food they ate are natural resources not the shiet that one of ya guy talking about.

Thanks Corky, my rifle is a Benelli R1 30-06 caliber and my uncle is a Ruger model 70 .300 WSM caliber.

Here is my other hunting rifle is a Barret .50 caliber, J/K. This rifle is too big for hunting.

Yeah, in places like Texas wild pigs cause great financial damage the region's farmers, due to their incessant crop raiding. If left unchecked, they no doubt would eat like locusts.

Even though I'm against guns, I do realize that hunting is quite necessary to control certain animal populations, particularly non-native species. An example of a native species that needs to be controlled is deer. If trigger happy hunters don't cull the heard regularly, we'd be killing them with our cars. I've had the misfortune of hitting a deer at 75 mph. Scared the living sh!t outta me. It was just so unexpected--seeing all that delicious venison flying thru the air. It also caused over $2,000 dollars in damage.

Funny, but deer actually thrive more in semi-deforrested areas than in thick virgin forrests. So when people move in and do a lot of clear cutting--provided it is not total to the point of full urbanization, they are one species that will actually thrive. Car vs deer accidents are becoming more and more common, with some degree of fatality for people too.

VietGuy7, why are you against gun ownership? That is our 2nd amendment, every (law abiding) citizen has the right to bear arms. If the gov. decide to take the guns away from the ciitizen, then it would only leave the bad guys and thugs with guns. For example, cocain is a controlled substain but any addicts can buy them on the street illegally, so I would think gun control would do more harm than good. Just remember "Gun dont kill people, people kill people".

Tim, is that a modified HK 416?

No, it is just a regular AR15 with direct impingement gas system but shoots 6.8 SPC. But I do have another AR that is using almost the same gas piston system with HK416 and it made by a company called Leitner Wise Rifle in the US.

they had a big amnesty a few years ago where they destroyed millions of guns that were floating around.

the gangs here always manage to get guns though, i think mostly by getting them off people who are currently in the military. a few years back one viet actually had a sniper gun and used it to execute a lebanese guy at a cinema complex. the bullet went right through the lebanese guy and ricocheted into the shoulder of a security guard who was nearby. and it was all because the lebanese guy tried to steal a mobile phone during the movie!

Lol, just last night the Travel Channel's Taste of America hosted by Mark DeCarlo did a piece on wild boar hunting somewhere in central or southern California. The hunters and their families, all whites, insisted that wild pig taste so much better than the caged, farmed raised, and hormone infested variety.

The modern wild boar of California is the product of ferril domesticated pigs that have been in California for 300 years and who have bred with imported European wild boars deliberately introduced during the 1920's by hunters. Wow, they must be very tasty.

Who made that AR? and the AK? Have you ever shot a pig with the AK yet? And how it work out? I did a head shot on one of the pig with my AR(.223) and he is just DRT, I didnot have too much confident to shoot the .223 on the vital part of the pig but rest assure I will do with my new 6.8 upper on the next hunting trip.

Bushmaster AR, and Arsenal SLR-106FR (AK-101)...............both are 5.56mm/.223 caliber.

I haven't shot a pig with the .223 round.

I nailed 1 with a 7.62 X 39 from a Chinese SKS rifle.

My favorite hunting rifle is a Scoped Remington in .308............

Nah. I couldn't deal with the skinning and butchering of the animal, especially large ones. I don't think I could even pluck a chicken or even skin a squirrel. That pic of the skinned wild pigs makes my skin crawl.

Don't get me wrong, in a survival situation, I would kill and eat anything, but I'll cross that bridge if ever I get there. Knock on wood.

The other thing is I don't like guns. They're dangerous God dammit!

On a different note, people hunt wild pigs all over the Hawaiin islands. Hawaii is really beautiful. So much so that I would gladly pick up a gun and blast a wild pig to smitherines and eat it raw just so I could walk out and about in that beautiful paradise.

That picture isnot mine, I found it on the internet. We never skin any pigs because that is the best part of the pig, most of the time we just field dress them in the field then cut in 4 pieces. Once we take them home, my uncle and dad will use a torch to burn off the hairs then use the boiling waters to scrape off the remaining.

My first AR is also a Bushmaster and I ended up sold to my friend. How is the AK shoot in 5.56? It should be more accurate than the 7.62x39 round.

Yes, the AK-101 is better than the AK-47/AKM......much more accurate.
