Did anybody see End of Evangalieon? It was one of the most confusing, disturbing, and GREATEST animated film i've seen. The way they potrayed the end of the world was so disturbing and horrifying. It makes you wonder if Gainex knows something we don't. What made this movie so disturbing and scary is that it shows the end of the world by using Jewish and Christian views of the end of the world, sort of. What with everything like Adam, Lilith, the man trying to be like God, everyone in the entire wolrd dying and forming into the 18th Angel, it's just freaky, especially if you're a strong believer in Christianity or Judaism. Still, this if a film worth checking out, but make sure you watch the series first.

I saw the end of evangelion. and YES, it was pretty disturbing, and i did not like it at all (sorry Saint Legends). I mean, some parts were alright (I think), but I enjoyed the beginning of evangelion more.

I liked it personally. There was much flaying of the skin from the flesh, flesh from bone, etc. Hehe, in a way it was disturbing, but when you think about it, everything made sense, right up to the point where you see Shinji and Asuka on that beach. It must've sucked when Shinji realized his only companion was the nearly catatonic Asuka.

True, True, i'd rather died than be with Asuka...or well, just ditch her a$$ anyways. Asuka is my least favorite character. she was soooo freakin' annoying. Sorry for all those Asuka fans out there, but that's just how i feel...Hey, the first two people to reply to this posts are two of my best friends!! FFA was pretty fun, huh? We actually got everyone to play DDR!! we should do it again sometime.

Uh, use a p2p program, slow and annoying, but works. I love DC++, games, music, books, movies, etc, they have it all. But uh, Evangelieon is xtremely confusing. The series and the movie even more. But I think it rox though. Extremely good storyline, I wonder how many people it pissed off though. Juz wished it uh, made more sense. Maybe if I watched it over and over I might understand it......but that would be uh....dreadful...LoL.

It took me a while to understand the storyline, but i think i understand most of it now....i think.

You are quite lucky to see Evangelion till the end, One commercial t.v. station did not finished the airing of this !I do not know what really happened? Someone said that many people complained about the story and they never finished it.

I didn't like the ending, sorry. As you know, Saint Legends, I don't even like Evangelion myself. It's quite a disturbing anime since the beginning.. Freakish!

I feel sorry for Rei. Her whole existence was for that. Askua's my least favourite character! I couldn't stand her!

So Himitsu, you finished the whole Eva series and End of Evangelion? If you did, I suggest seeing Death and Rebirth. You only need to see it if you have any questions about Eva. Gainax decided to clean up after itself and make a movie dedicated to answering Eva questions that were unanswered in the series.

I haven't seen the last 2 episodes, I can't find them, but I've picked that up from AMV's.

i have 'death and rebirth' and 'end of evangelion'. well, i agree. some of it was disturbing, but it turned out to be okay. i am just glad that the war is over.

One day i'll do an anime TEN TIMES disturbing than Evangalieon....okay, maybe twice as disturbing...

I'm going to be honest here...

I both like and dislike the End of Evangelion Movie.

It was good because at least what happened resembled a story. I didn't like the last 2 episodes of the series so it was nice to see it get back on track.

However, the actual film itself leaves the watcher feeling rather confused. Having watched it through a couple of times now, I still see parts of it that leave me baffled.

I still prefer the series in truth, but the film itself is worth watching.

Nah it wasn't disturbing at all.

Oh sure it was gory and all but look at what we are witnessing now in this world.

We have wars, terorism, murders, killers and etc.

Evangelion really projects the reality of this world we are living .

And after I watched the whole series and EOE and after doing some research

through the internet I finally understand the whole concept behind Evangelion.

And yes although there are signs of Jewish and Christianity religion inside the whole Evangelion series.

I think Evangelion is also connected to UFO science and religion.

I have to agree with BOD there. That movie was AWSOME. It realy portrayed the world we live in today,but at a different level than its ever been viewed before. Although I liked the movie itself,I didnt like its ending,I mean god,the world was formed into an Angel. That just freaked me out.

Eva is Confusing

next end of evangelion is not confusing if u think about it!

it is about the beginning, so called angels that fell of the evolutionary ladder to be replaced by use humans, and at the time of judgement, for them to come back and wipe us off, the end.

u could say some one pushed the reset button on earth.

but as u guys who have seen the show know this was planed from the beginning by does lovable guys at Nerv!
